Codeyard: Helping You Achieve a Successful Software Development Process

Codeyard introduction by Martin Seibert

Codeyard is our new product suite, specially developed for companies planning larger or very large software projects. It is a product suite of software programs and expert services, which provide both the technical and procedural infrastructure necessary to achieve a seamless and structured development workflow. We offer Codeyard as a professional and powerful solution for quickly setting up and integrating a tailored, effective and efficient software development process, from concept to delivered product.

Convinced about self-organized teams

When we started building websites professionally in 1996, we were still operating on intuition. Meticulous project planning was foreign to us. The business developed, we grew and quickly reached a point where we began looking for professional processes for developing our projects. We tried several (Gantt-Charts with MS Project and project checklists we developed ourselves), but none had the result we hoped for. For a while, project managers could decide how they wanted to develop their projects.

What JIRA 7 means for licensing

With JIRA 7, Atlassian gives individual teams in a company the exact products they need for their use. The license structure was broken up, three new products were created at the same time, and the use cases were changed. This applies to the tools JIRA, JIRA Agile and JIRA Service Desk. In this article, we explain how changes to JIRA licensing affect you and answer the most important questions.

Codeyard Building Blocks – Atlassian’s HipChat, Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket and Bamboo together

JIRA Portfolio 1.9: visualize capacities, configure sprints flexibly

JIRA Portfolio helps linking business strategy with daily business. The latest version of JIRA Portfolio 1.9 makes portfolio planning even more realistic. Due to the new capacity visualization, it is easy to see how much work can be done. It becomes transparent whether dates and deadlines really are realistic. Also, it is now possible to edit work day settings to include holidays and off times to be considered in the portfolio plan.

InstaPrinta 2.0: Now with full Integration in JIRA Agile

In a previous article, we have introduced the InstaPrinta by //SEIBERT/MEDIA and the functions of the JIRA plugin. Our JIRADev team has now released InstaPrinta 2.0 and we would like to dive a bit deeper into the actual features. InstaPrinta is a JIRA plugin for printing issues directly from JIRA and JIRA Agile on handy card format (i.e. DIN A6). Individual and various issues can be sent to the printer and saved as a PDF. In JIRA, issue view and issue search are extended by a menu item, that offers a choice to print or create a PDF.
