Version 2.3 of Space Privacy is here! The newest release of this app features a simplified user experience for administrators of Confluence spaces and predefined administrator roles to streamline set-up.
Until now, using an intranet and accessing the content and functions within, has been limited to employees who have their own workstation, or at least are able to use one regularly. You can change this with Linchpin Touch.
One large task that the Agile Coaches work on at a company level includes recruiting and external (corporate) marketing. We are convinced that our //SEIBERT/MEDIA employees are our most valuable resource, and therefore the recruitment of new staff is particularly important.
We want to use our capabilities and strengths to achieve the greatest positive impact on our company and add value to our teams. Our work has moved more and more from the team level to the corporate level. As Agile Coaches, company training and further education is important. But first, here is some food for thought at a more abstract level.
In JIRA, companies manage their projects, epics, user stories and detailed tasks. Requirements are translated into concrete tickets that can be assigned and processed. Dependencies are shown here. Project progress is measured and evaluated with JIRA.
Confluence has also had tasks and tasks lists for several years. On this topic, someone contacted us a while ago on Twitter:

There’s a trend that’s moving away from being always on and always available. Some companies even go so far as to prohibit checking email on smartphones outside of working hours and on weekends.
Nowadays, there are more enterprise software providers coming out with mobile apps. Would this constant email accessibility bring on additional stress? And employees aren’t just getting email. They also have to deal with work-related questions that could come up at any time via push notifications.
I’d like to share a few of my own thoughts and experiences.
Last year, Facebook started offering a business solution called, Workplace by Facebook. It’s a variation of the social network of the same name, but for use in the office. Companies can easily register, calculate costs, and quickly get up and running.
But what does the term “workplace” really mean in this case? What does Workplace by Facebook (referred to as Workplace hereafter) actually offer companies?
Last year, Facebook started offering a solution for organizations called, Facebook for Work. It then officially started development in October 2016, changing its name to Workplace by Facebook. The question is, though, how much “workplace” is really in Workplace by Facebook? Is it mainly an intranet, or can it even be an alternative to a digital workplace?
Small and medium-sized companies in the IT industry have to come up with something today in order to be able to keep up with the big enterprises of tomorrow, in terms of personnel and holding their own in the search for capable specialists.
Employee surveys may have some hurdles that can be annoying, or sometimes downright obstructive. We are currently working on employee surveys for a new intranet project, and this is my contribution to the conceptualization phase. If you are in a similar situation, the following thoughts and examples may be useful.
