The first //SEIBERT/MEDIA client to introduce a Linchpin intranet to their organization was MEYER WERFT GmbH & Co. KG. The German shipbuilding company, which has been in business since 1795, is renowned for its shipyard in Papenburg. For over 200 years, the experts at this family-run business have built numerous ships. To compete internationally, production technology had to be on the cutting edge. Today, MEYER WERFT has the most modern shipbuilding facilities in the world.

Five Ways to Effectively Plan with Portfolio for JIRA
There are times when even agile teams can’t get around a certain level of planning. But, it can be quite challenging to balance daily tasks within a sprint along with the added pressure of a plan.
Since development teams organize their day-to-day operations in JIRA, Atlassian developed Portfolio for JIRA, which takes planning to a new level. The new plugin helps align product roadmaps with sprint planning, keep track of dependencies, manage team skills, and pose what-if questions.
Linchpin Intranet at the Atlassian Summit Europe in Barcelona
//SEIBERT/MEDIA will be at Atlassian Summit Europe 2017 with three products: draw.io, the diagramming solution for Confluence (this year’s Summit’s main sponsor), our Codeyard tool stack for software developers and, of course, Linchpin, our Confluence-based social intranet. We are presenting Linchpin in collaboration with our colleagues and partners from DEISER at booth G6 in the Expo Hall.
Mobile Internet Use is Interactive and Communicative – Intranet Apps Should Be, Too
For years, mobile internet use has been on the rise. In 2015, over half of all Google searches worldwide originated from mobile devices. Yet another milestone was reached in 2016, as smartphones surpassed other devices in terms of where internet is accessed.
The new Linchpin intranet app fits right into this type of smartphone usage. Though a mobile intranet isn’t a chat application, it should also have social and communication features to provide mobile users with an interactive experience for mobile users.

Agile Organization at //SEIBERT/MEDIA: Open Space Meetings
At //SEIBERT/MEDIA, we strive to incorporate agile concepts and methods outside of software development, throughout the entire company and extend them to work for all processes. An important tool within our agile organization is the Open Space, the so-called “unconference”.
Integrating Jira into Confluence
Confluence and JIRA interact with one another very closely. In one of our live webinars, my colleague, Jan Kuntscher, and I demonstrate JIRA integration in Confluence. Not only do we show standard features such as individual operations, configurable process lists, and JIRA task list creation within Confluence, we also provide some helpful tips for features that may be unfamiliar to you.
Interactive Webinars for Customers: We Want Efficient, Informative and Entertaining Talks
There are obvious problems with in-person events: long travel times being just one. Online webinars often have their own set of problems, especially when they are bad sales pitches couched as useful presentations. We don’t want to run that type, so we propose a different format, handing control over to you, the participants. Sound interesting?
