Our trip to San José for Atlassian Summit 2016 is almost upon us, and we are looking forward to an eventful and busy time. Atlassian’s yearly user conference is from 11 to 13 October. We offer all conference attendees the opportunity to get to know us and our Confluence-based intranet Linchpin better, both before and during the conference. We have a full agenda.
We continue to intensively develop our Confluence add-on ‘Microblogging for Confluence’. Version 2.3 has just been released, which implemented one particularly helpful feature: Users can now subscribe to a daily digest for selected spaces.
During //SEIBERT/MEDIA’s last Atlassian Enterprise Club meeting with customers in Wiesbaden, we welcomed an important visitor from Sydney, Australia: Wendell Keuneman, Head of Confluence at Atlassian. Not only did Wendell answer questions from deep discussions with our customers, he also provided useful insights into best practices for workplace co-operation and collaboration with Atlassian software.
Regular readers of this blog or subscribers to our English YouTube channel will know Sherif Mansour, Confluence Product Manager at Atlassian in Sydney. We have published many fun interviews on various topics with Sherif. At the recent 2016 AtlasCamp in Barcelona, the large developer conference by Atlassian, we met again with Sherif, and offered him another opportunity to speak with us on camera.
JIRA Service Desk does not have the built-in capability for users to see support questions from other users. In many situations, this would be useful – for example when multiple requests come from the same company or team. Collective Issue View, a new add-on from our JIRA development team fills this gap.
