December Is Approaching: We Present the Second Keynote of the Tools4AgileTeams Conference 2022!

The summer is clearly over: leaves, chestnuts and walnuts have started falling from the trees, and at Seibert Media in Wiesbaden, the 11th Tools4AgileTeams conference is fast approaching. On December 1st and 2nd, our new headquarters will turn into a central hub for all Agile enthusiasts. For  two days it will be about Agility in all its facets.

Less than two months left - how is it going so far?

In the meantime, the Track Chairs have selected the sessions, from the more than 130 ideas that were submitted and we are busy tinkering with the agenda. Keep checking the conference website for regular updates on the program and the individual sessions. There you can also - if you don't have one yet - get your ticket for this year's Tools4AgileTeams.

You can choose between the on-site ticket, which puts you on our guest list for both days in Wiesbaden, and the basic ticket, which gives you digital access to the online conference. (We don't know about you, but after two years of purely online events, we are happy that face-to-face meetings are possible again - of course with an appropriate hygiene concept).

New topics at the conference

New this year are the Modern Workplace track and the Agile IT Service Management track. Modern Workplace is a topic that has made us all real testers, especially during the pandemic. How, where and when we work has fundamentally changed for many people. Which work models are appropriate, what do you need, and how will we work in the future? All this and more will come up in this track.

Agile IT Service Management deals with how companies can or even must provide their IT services in agile environments. Which hurdles on the one hand and which advantages on the other are associated with agile IT service management? We will address these and other questions on December 1 and 2 - including case studies and interesting approaches from the field.

Keynote #2: Achieving Business Agility with SAFe®

The keynote address (in English) by Scaled Agile veteran Dean Leffingwell will focus on the much talked-about business agility of companies - or rather the path to it, which (depending on the company) is not so easy. After all, digital business is dominated by speed and dynamism: everything moves and changes at sometimes breathtaking speed. To survive in a volatile environment, organizations must constantly create value in the form of products or user experiences that excite their customers - and thus retain them in the long term.

Moreover, it takes more than agile techniques and teams to successfully bring solutions to market. In his keynote, Dean Leffingwell will explore how successful companies are leveraging SAFe and the business agility value streams to deliver technology-driven solutions faster than ever before. New directions in SAFe and tips on how companies can succeed in generating value for customers without disruption will also be part of the talk.

Second Keynote of the Tools4AgileReams Conference 2022 - Dean LeffingwellDean Leffingwell is considered one of the world's leading authorities on Lean-Agile best practices. No wonder: After all, he is not only an entrepreneur and pioneer of modern software development methods, but also developed SAFe®, the framework for business agility that is most widely used around the globe.

Much of today's thinking about Lean Agile practices and principles is based on his books "Agile Software Requirements," "Scaling Software Agility," and "SAFe® Distilled." Dean has previously served as Senior Vice President at Rational Software (now part of IBM) and Chief Methodologist at Rally Software. Today, he is Chief Methodologist at Scaled Agile, Inc. which he co-founded in 2011.

After his talk, Dean will of course be available for a lively exchange and questions. And if you would like to get even more impetus for agile scaling, we recommend the Scaling Agile track, which will offer additional exciting sessions on scaling agile processes on both days of the conference.
