Free footer configuration

Imagine that you're searching for the sign-up link for lunch. Where would you look first? Of course, in the footer! This is where you can find essential information at a glance.

Luckily, with the Linchpin Suite 5.6 and Linchpin Essentials 2.6 update, administrators can activate and freely configure up to five columns in the footer! You can decide whether the columns should be filled with links, lists, or free text.

(The content in the automatically generated columns has not changed since the last update, but you can show and hide them as needed, whether you are a user or an administrator).

Events, events, events!

You know how the situation goes: A new event is coming up, and as the organizer, you've got your hands full: How many guests are coming? Will enough food be provided? What day is it again? Questions upon questions! It's no wonder that your head is spinning.

With the new functions of the Linchpin Intranet Suite 5.6, we've got a solution! From now on, you can display your events in the calendar view, set registration deadlines, and receive notifications about every new registration and cancellation. This means no surprises on the guest list that could cause a scene at the buffet (after all, unaccounted-for guests can result in a food shortage).

If your mailbox is about to explode, you can, of course, deactivate the notifications again. And don't worry, if someone still wants to join at the last minute, you can add participants as an administrator, a creator, or an editor at any time and keep an eye on everything.

With these practical functions, your event planning will be a hit, and you'll make sure that everyone has fun and that no one goes home with an empty stomach.

In German, Linchpin is now gender-neutral

The world is changing - and so is Linchpin. For our German-speaking users, in our update, we have made the system completely gender-neutral; this means no more gender asterisks or other signs. From now on, events will be joined by participants.

Fixed sizes for teaser macros and other new features

Are you unbeatable in Tetris (maybe even since 1984)? Then your pages are guaranteed to break all records with this new feature: From now on, you can assign a fixed width to your teaser macros, sort them as you like, and prioritize them visually by size.
