Improve your documentation’s usability
Confluence’s customization options are limited. You can’t change the theming or layout and you can’t stop your public Confluence looking like an Atlassian site.
With Aura’s formatting macros, you can restructure content, add visual elements, and improve the usability of your Confluence pages. With Karma, you can transform whole pages in a few clicks using trendy page and section templates designed for different use cases. And with Spacecraft, you can customize your Confluence theme with backgrounds, logos, fonts, links, and more.
These three apps work together to transform your public documentation space into a slick website that matches your brand and offers a better user experience.
Control what information customers can see
When you make a space public, there’s no way of stopping customers from seeing comments, page contributors, the last-modified date, page history, etc. This is information that should stay private and internal.
With Spacecraft, you can choose to hide byline information, comments, reactions, and the page title. Spacecraft also automatically removes certain native Confluence elements such as the navigation bar, space settings, and access to page history. As a result, your product documentation looks cleaner, more professional, and less like Confluence.
Make it easy to move between multiple documentation spaces
If you have multiple spaces for different versions of your product, it’s not very intuitive or quick moving between them. This is because you can only see one page tree for one space at a time.
With Spacecraft, you can add multiple Confluence spaces to one documentation site. This allows you to see all page trees for all spaces in the same navigation menu.
