Since December 2024 we can now proudly say that Seibert Group GmbH is officially ISO/IEC 27001 certified ㄧ the world's leading standard for information security management systems.
The certificate issued by FOX Certification GmbH - now operating under the name SOCOTEC Certification Deutschland GmbH - confirms that Seibert Group GmbH's information security management system meets the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard in the scope of “Software development, support, license trading, consulting, training or other services and supporting processes in the area of collaboration/improvement of collaboration”.
Why did we opt for ISO 27001 certification?
ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving an information security management system (ISMS). Simply put, this certification shows that we treat both your data and our internal processes with the utmost care and protect them with the best security practices.
Our decision to achieve ISO 27001 certification is closely linked to the requirements of our customers and our responsibility as a company. More and more organizations - especially critical infrastructure companies and public institutions with high security requirements - are demanding that their partners meet this international security standard.

Our path to certification
Our ISO 27001 certification is the result of an extensive process that began back in 2020 with the initial preparations. At that time, only one and a half positions within Seibert were entrusted with the project - a challenge that was made even more difficult by the pandemic and our strong growth.
But we did not give up: By 2023, we gradually increased our ISMS team to four people, who drove the project full steam ahead. Over the years, more than 60 people from various teams have been actively involved in the certification process. Their commitment, expertise and perseverance were crucial to meeting the demanding requirements.
