In a nutshell
On July 15, 2022, new pricing will take effect for most of our Linchpin apps. This applies to both Linchpin Server and Linchpin Data Center. Please note that until then you will still see the old prices on our website and in the Atlassian Marketplace. They will be changed on July 15th.
What exactly does this mean for you?
- App purchases, renewals and offers made or created prior to July 15th, 2022 will remain valid.
- The new prices will apply to all purchases, renewals and offers on or after July 15th, 2022.

Why do we adjust the prices?
We're adjusting the prices so that we can ensure steady development of Linchpin.
Linchpin is reliable and we want to keep it that way. Atlassian's Server-End of Life has also forced us to act. On the one hand, we want to ensure that Linchpin remains a real powerhouse in the world of social intranets in the long term and, of course, is thus constantly being improved. We invest many of our resources in important topics such as performance, security, and accessibility. We have to and want to meet the growing demands that Data Center brings with it at all times. Our customers should be able to scale with us and Linchpin without any problems, at any time.
At the same time, we want to respond even better to our customers' needs and invest more resources in the development of features that are explicitly requested by our customers. (Of course, the server version of Linchpin will also benefit from all these updates).
We also want to be able to continue to provide fast and reliable support. When our mission began, developers took on support tasks on a sporadic basis. Nowadays, that is no longer conceivable. In the meantime, we have had to set up dedicated support teams that can provide you with good advice and solve your problems on a daily basis.
On the other hand, we cannot hide from other possible alternatives of the future. The cloud has become increasingly important for many people and companies in recent years. That's why we are also working hard to build apps for Atlassian Cloud. Apps that build on popular and proven Linchpin use cases and allow us to bring Linchpin functionality to your cloud. It's clearly an investment in the future - but it also means increased spending for us.
